Looking for the 2 different clips that hold the handlebar pad in place.
2 look like a large staple. The other 2 slip on the pad on either side of the steering post.
Parts fish for 1977 thru 79 show a "T" nut.
This is incorrect. We need the real ones. I managed to save one of each, but they're in a safe place, and I don't know where that is???
