Alright time to ask the experts... YOU GUYS! My rescue sled project (the one I found in a field rotting) has gone through the shop and I had it riding and runing last Saturday pretty cool! UNTIL... my daughter was riding it and it killed! dam thing... so I pulled and pulled and pulled and nothing check for fuel ok and spark was just barely visible. Got new plugs same thing.
So I bought a manual for the sled and checked kill switch = OK, Ignition switch marginal so I unplugged it. I checked the wires leading to the CDI box and they checked ok however the manual says I need a CD ignition tester to check the 2 yellow, black and brown wires this is the plug that comes out of the motor on the right side with 3 female and one male ports. Is there anyway to check these with an ohmmeter? I found the posting that sixty8cat posted on youtube but its not exact. Any and all help is appreciated!!!
