Hi

have problems with my 650 V2, when I ride it for a while the main fuse blow and if I put a new one in it will immediately blow again. If a let it rest/cool down for a day or two I can change fuse and it will run fore some time. I have tried to unplug connections, relays etc with now succes.
Anyone have any suggestion?

Sounds like a repeatable problem - which is a good thing...

To help isolate "root cause":
  • Install new fuse (and double / triple check its size number).
  • Drive around to get engine hot and when it blows again.
  • Remove other sub fuses (like lights, etc. etc)
  • Install new "good" main fuse.
  • Drive around again to get engine hot (to repeat problem).
  • If "new" fuse is ok, then one of the sub circuits has a bad short.
  • If "new" fuse blows, then root cause is NOT a sub circuit.

Try above - to isolate root cause...

Unfortunately the problem isnt repeateble, sometime I can change fuse and it will run for 2 more houre or even more. As I describe I have tried to isolate the problem by disconect Display, relays, Winsh, al databoxes etc. with no succes.

Around the steering column and where the wires come out of the fuse box and go over the frame are the most common areas.
