can anyone fill me in on what the big dif is between the 2 clutches? my 9 tower spider broke and the dealer only had 6 tower clutches so i put one of those on. same style weights and same spring so i doubt theres much of a dif at all

In I think '97 or '98 Arctic Cat started building the 9 tower clutches to handle the higher horse power sleds. They soon went back to the 6 tower clutch for a reason I do not know, I heard that the extra strenth was not needed, but the seating angle on an old 6 tower clutch to a new one is different. The 9 tower clutch can be swapted with and older 6 tower clutch, weights more but not much.
