Yes it a great mod to do to the manual tranny Like was said it should be this way from the factory.It DOES NOT SNAP YOUR NECK it will take off just like stock but at a higher rpm is all,it really put the 500m in its "sweet spot" for power best thing to do imop...

it will help even with stock tires IMOP it lets the motor get some rpms before it engauges the clutch and this gets it close to its power band to allow for more power right off idle..

well there not a hole lot higher some where around 500rpms more ?? but it really goes in the same as the stock springs just at a higher rpm. you can get it to hit alittle hard if you blip the throttle or are trying to .shoot if you idle is alittle high you cant even tell its in there..

i bought mine through High Lifter its like $89 shipped or something and comes with a new gasket,or you can get it through EPI for $50 and then you will need to get a new gasket i think there like $15 or so... I have the pruple springs and i have read they do have one with a higher stall for like $100..
