Hello, I lost 4WD today and decided to check the actuator box that sits on the front diff. I opened it up and it was full of water, motor was rusty and corrotion on the circuit boards. Is this salvageable? It was fully working yesterday and just suddenly stopped today.

Try to clean off all the corrosion you can find (isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush will work) clean all your connections, let it air dry and try it. I think I read a sticky on it in the pinned section
I did clean it very well and sprayed it with a lot of electrical spray and got it working again! now I sealed the whole box, so I hope it will continue to work for a bit longer. The dealer wanted an insane high price for a new one so I'm super happy

Good for you- be sure to read about waterproofing your actuator- it's in the pinned section- might save you time or money in the future
