My Fuel shut off valve petcock has developed a leak when in the "ON" position. "OFF" and "RES" work fine with no leak.

For now I can just run my ATV in "RES" until I fix.

I am wondering of this is a common problem and if the valve can be rebuilt?

Is it even worth trying to fix or should I just get a whole new shut off valve assembly?

Lastly, anyone know the part number for this Fuel shut off valve petcock ?

Thanks all.

Usually only common in the older ones as fuel deteriorates the seals. I would change it. Part number is 3307-149. Fits only 15-17 400’s.

First drain the gas, then I think when I changed that valve out I removed the fender plastic and loosened the tank to be able to get under it. There are two bolts then just replace and put back together.
It’s been a couple years since I did it but that’s what I can remember. Pretty straight forward.
