i recently purchased a wildcat 1000 and i took it out the other day and there was a weird honing noise and didn’t think anything of it until my speedo stopped working it threw codes C1312 and P0500 also the honing noise goes away when i let off the throttle. i’ve read a couple threads and some seem to have similar problems and say it could be a bearing behind the secondary clutch does this sound like it could be the problem?

Yah like a growling high pitched noise it’s seems to get louder as i speed up. but right when i let off the throttle it’ll go away.

I have the same sound on my 2012 wildcat 1000. I been all over the place trying to figure if anyone had the same problem. All I can find is that it could be the one way bearing that is bad but can’t get a conformation on it.
