Hey guys, I have a 2014 AC 500 EFI and I just replaced the belt and the oil was changed not long ago with AC oil. I bought it used and it has always seemed like it needed to be reved high to get it to go but once it goes it goes. I was told it might be the wet clutch or the secondary clutch spring but I cant find a secondary clutch spring or part number for it. If you guys have any information that would be much appreciated!

It’s possible that the previous owner used the wrong oil and glazed the wet clutch. You can’t get just the springs from cat but you can get them aftermarket. Unless you have a broken spring it won’t cause slipping issues. The other thing it could be is the previous owner installed a clutch kit with wet clutch springs. That would give it a higher engagement RPM

The best thing to do is take it apart and see what’s up.
