Good day,
I am having an issue with my 2013 Arctic Cat 550 TRV. I'm on my third or fourth battery in 5 years. When I turn the key on, the battery drops to 8.5 volts and stays there. When I turn the key off goes back to over 12 volts. Any ideas where I should start? Thanks in advance.

Your battery is no good. These machines require a fully charged battery. If it sits more than a few days , keep it on a battery tender. Nothing kills a starting battery faster than deep discharges below 50% DOD

You can also check for a parasitic drain. It should be very small.

That was my original thought. I have a small 2 am battery charger I may gear up with quick connects to keep charge on straight time.

You can plug right into the accessory adapter on the side of the speedo pod. Another two prong port at the rear by the taillight.
They all have a small draw due to clock etc.
