So my 550 developed a clicking/clunking sound from the clutch area. I first notice it while driving fwd or reverse. I put it on stands and left it in neutral, reved engine and you can hear it slightly. If i turn the driveshaft a bit it will make the clicking/clunking sound, i turn it again it goes quieter. It kind of sounds like the rollers in the primary. I replaced the rollers and it has the same sound. Could it be something in the secondary clutch. I am stumped. If someone could help please!!

Check the one way bearing. If it’s bad just remove it.

Can you tell if there is something wrong with it when you remove it? I am probably going to do that though. Do you know what i will need for the repair? Clutch housing gasket any seals or anything? Oil obviously

The one way clutch is behind the housing by the wet clutch right? So it is on the wet side? Just making sure.

Are there other seals i need besides the housing gasket? I guess an oil seal. Anything else?

The inner and outer cover gaskets. Remove the right side outer clutch cover then the inner wet clutch case.
