We've been blowing belts (less than 500 miles per belt) on our 570. I did notice that the last belt had a smooth top/outside to it and the new ones I've seen are double cogged. Maybe they will last longer?
Anyway, I did notice that there is no play at all in the jack shaft.
Other (even older) sleds I've owned had some play (1/8") when the clutch was mounted on shaft.
With the clutch bolt going through the bushing holding the clutch on, maybe there isn't supposed to be any play?
I was told alignment and deflection was good at beginning of the season by our dealer.
Our belt is a Cat 0627-067.
Any thoughts?

New belts need to be broken in. Drive 30 mph or so with no WOT. Clutches need to be clean of all grease or belt will slip causing heat buildup and breakage. And yes, secondary does not move on shaft as in some of the old models
