Need help guys,
this is my first ATV and its been nothing but problems - when first started the bike runs fine (fwd, reverse, 2 wheel & 4 wheel). After driving for 15-20 min and its up to temp, come to a full stop like to cross a road, when i try and take off i get a terrible grinding or chattering noise (and loss of power to the wheels). It doesn't matter 2 wheel, 4 wheel, fwd, or reverse - loss of power and grinding noise. I have done a few things to try and fix it. Found the clutch drum had grooves, so I replaced the wet clutch, drum/housing, belt, movable face rollers. took out for a test, same problem. when the bike gets going it seems to work fine, but if i stop and try to take off happens again. Shut it off and wait an hour good again until it heats up. Only 2900kms, using arctic cat parts and oil. also replaced cooling can switch.

Grinding is usually the first sign it’s on its way out.
