My 2008 H1 just dies on me after short rides (30 minutes). I let it sit and 15-90 minutes later the power comes back and it starts no problem. I replaced the thermostat and fluids and battery is strong and clean. Stuck what to check next. Thanks for any input.

First thought is the gas tank venting properly. I would loosen the gas cap as a test. Start with the simple stuff.

Next thought is something is failing when it gets hot, coil?

To add to my situation, yesterday was a warm day with a hot sun and it took a while for power to return so I could restart. In the winter and cooler days, the reset time for power returning was a lot quicker. Has me thinking that it may be a sensor or am I not heading in the right direction?

Take the gas cap off when it does it and try starting.
