I took a couple photos of where I think the access cover to the valves are on my single cylinder 650 h1.

I marked it with a red circle. Can anyone verify if this is the correct location?

Also, I marked with a blue circle on the opposite side of the cylinder head another access cover?

Are there two locations where the valves are adjusted? Is one side the intake and the other side the exhaust valves?

Also, you can see there is some residue leaking. I am assuming the gasket must be leaking there.

Yes, those are the access covers for the intake and exhaust valves. The cover above the exhaust is the exhaust valves and the cover above the intake is for the intake valves. I believe theres an "O"ring on the under sides of the covers, might want to get a couple new ones to replace that leaky exhaust valve access cover. 2 intake valves and 2 exhaust valves.

Is there a way to get at the intake without taking off the plastics?
I am thinking not. Damm. I should have done this when the plastics were off for paint.

pull the glove box out, then lift and push the air box off to the right side, you can do it that way for the intake. Be careful of dirt and debris falling in though. I remove the front plastics as I found that easier on my nerves and quicker time wise especially if you don't have the AC valve adjusting tool. I can have the front plastic off in about 15 minutes or so.
