Needed to roll my ATV out of the way and when doing so noticed a clicking sound from the rear. Upon inspection the left rear inner CV boot was ripped open and some nice black goo was evident on the boot. There was also a spot of the black goo on the floor where the ATV was sitting. If the CV joint is clicking does that mean it is pooched ? After reading some of the related posts from years ago, the best way is replace the whole axle ?
