Hi all,

My neighbor has a 08 250 auto 2x2 that slips when under load (climbing hills) in hi range only..
Low range is perfect.
He changed the belt, as the local Arctic Cat dealer suggested. But it didn't help and the old belt looked like new.

In the searching we have done, we have seen the subject brought up, but never seen the answer to the problem.
I would like to help him but I don't have any experience with these machines.

Any suggestions what we can look for?

Thanks,
Joe Walters

I own a 08 Arctic Cat 400 auto 4x4 which hasn't had any problems other than a fuel pump going bad.
And a bad gauge assembly.
If anyone has a used guage I would be interested in buying one
Thanks

660catman,

Should we replace anything else along with the 3 clutches?

I have done many auto/truck clutch jobs, but never messed with this style.

Thanks again,

Joe Walters

Take a look at #22 the drum for scoring if any.
