Can anyone tell me why the fuel tank is building up pressure, particularly when it’s warm/sunny out? Isn’t there a check valve in the vent line? My 07 F8 never does this.
Thanks , great forum!

There is a check valve #17 AND a pressure relief valve #19. Not too familiar whether that's just in the return line and the gas cap is vented type?

Its normal. whats odd is your F8 isn't
EPA regulations...
The vent isn't open to atmosphere, there is a check valve to let air in, and a pressure relief valve to make sure fumes cant get out, but the tank doesn't explode. 3-5 psi is the opening pressure iirc
