Need some help with a 2006 F7 that just started leaking oil into the throttle bodies and into the intake boot, eventually onto the floor. About 1/4 cup a day. (over night) My guess is that the oil pump developed a problem. Is there a check valve built into the pump? Can it be serviced? Any help wold be nice.
What did you end up finding for solution to oil leaking into throttle body? I just bought an '04 F6 and discovered my intake boot full of oil when I got home.
Dont really know. The person brought in it to a dealer and it's somewhat fixed. still drips a little. He mentioned new oil hoses and clamps as part of the fix.
Found many other discussions on other sires. Seams its fairly common. Especially after summer storage, fuel pump check valves could be culprit. I'm going to keep an eye it see how bad it is. Since it just came out of storage.
