just bought a 05 Arctic cat 250. cranks once in a while, will pop but wont run. cleaned carb, checked for good spark but cant seem to find the problem. any outside knowledge will help.

I adjusted the lifters until they touched and tightened the set screw. Is this the proper adjustment for this bike?

NO it is not, the correct procedure and amount of clearance will be found in he link for service manual that Doorfx provided

Exhaust 0.08-0.13mm - 0.003-0.005in
