Hey. Rebuilding my 2005 that has been sitting for 3 years and hoses rotted. Replaced all hoses, fuel lines, etc. and cleaned carb and jets. New battery and it starts right up. However, I can't go more than 5mph at most and not sure what to try next. Been reading the forum and google for over an hour. I did take off the throttle assembly and unhooked the throttle cable. the cable did "unwind"/spin a couple times so wondering if I need to replace the cable or remove cable from carb to unwind that? When I ride it and move the throttle cable under the air box, the RPMs change so not sure I have it routed correctly (again no pictures on google to see routing). Any help is appreciated just trying to avoid taking it to dealer for $$$ I can't swing now.

With carb off but cable hooked up, make sure slide goes all the way up. It should not have spun a couple of times either. Do you know for sure that choke is coming off? They have issues and a few guys have converted it to a manual choke.
