The shock on my 2003 ZL600 SS is shot. I want to replace the SS suspension and I have located a skid frame form a 2002 ZR. Does anyone know if the ZR suspension will fit on my sled. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks. Most of my idler wheels are also shot, so I think that I will go with the different skid frame.

The zr skid will be a direct fit but depending on the zr that it came out of you might lose out on what you're after. Your skid has resevoir shocks both front and back. I believe only the cross country edition zr's came with them vs the regular zr's.
Point being, check the shocks that are in the donor skid compared to what you currently have so you don't waste your hard earned money.

I don't know how good your shocks are as far as quality or if they're worth rebuilding but I'm sure others will chime in on that.
