I've got an '02 375 that the fan doesn't turn on. I disconnected the fan connector and powered the fan manually and it works. Can anyone tell me how the fan system works and any ideas on what to look for next. Thanks.

Only thing left is the temperature switch really, if the fan fuse isn't blown, then there generally isn't a problem with the fan or wiring to it. It's turned on my a temp switch on the front of the engine. I'd go there first.

if i remember correctly, the 375 is air and oil cooled like the 400's...if so, it takes A LOT to get the fan to turn on....my old 400 hardly ever turned on, and when it did the fan was really quiet unlike my 500

dont forget that even though its oil cooled, it has a big damn radiator just for being oil cooled
