Took my 2000 arctic cat 500 apart because it wasn’t running right, ended up being air fuel ratio screw backed out but anyway everything looked good so I put it back together and it has now Acquired a tick,if I use the pull cord without it running and slowly pull it over it sounds to be coming from the right side maybe bottom end,hot or cold it sounds the same, maybe someone has had similar problems and can give some insight thanks

Did you set valves after taking head off? Rocker box is glued on thickness of glue can and will effect valve set

Uhm, could have been everything was dry still from disassembly and oil hadn't worked its way through everywhere yet. Check your valve adjustment anyways, I just had the rocker-box off my rig 3x and I had to reset my valves every time, the thickness of sealant vs torque on bolts changes every time enough that your valves will need adjusted every time.
