Hey guys, new member here..tuning up the sled for the winter, started in 2 pulls (fresh plugs, gas) and took it around the yard for about 5 minutes, noticed that it started losing power and wanted to die.

Could this be a carb problem? cleaned them out last year before storing it, out of sync maybe? any help would be appreciated before I start wrenching..Thanks in advance

Also, do thorough inspection of your tanks INTERNAL fuel pickup hose. They are known to crack and eventually fall off of their assigned “barb” (nipple) causing you to lose constant fuel pressure.

In many cases, they’ll appear alright, but have several unseen cracks/fractures that’ll cause pump to draw air along with fuel, leading to starvation and loss of power as you mentioned.

I’ve been seeing this as a very common issue for over 15 years now in the sledding industry. Especially with Cats type of fuel line used as oem.
