Looking to fix up my aunts arctic cat, needing some work. Needing the rear axles from the differential out to the tires. All the Arctic Cat dealers in the area are charging $130 and up for each axle.

I found a part off amazon with the brand name Caltric for $57 each. Has anyone ever used that brand or heard of it?

Also, what motor oil and how much do you use?

Don’t know about axles as I’ve never needed for mine. What’s wrong with yours to need total replacement?
Oil takes 3.5 quarts. Use oil that does not contain friction modifiers. Shell Rotella T6 synthetic is good. Go to a Suzuki dealer for oil filter. It’s way cheaper. It’s a Suzuki 300 engine.

With the parts and tools to replace just the rubber boots(completely torn up) it was around $100. The Caltric axles would be $112 for new axles and boots.

Well that’s a no brainer then. Wouldn’t hurt to try Caltric.
