my carbbed 99 zr500 was running like a champ recently. On my way home came to a stop and died. Yes lots of fuel.

Only way it would start is with full choke and some throttle. Still not on. So i took the carbs apart cleaned and stuff put her back together and only way to get going is to full choke and throttle a little.

Seasons almost over here in Petawawa would love to make it to the end. I adjusted the air screw as per manual, set everything back from original spots. Essentially changed nothing but cleaning.

Lots of spark on plugs. Any suggestions as this is getting frustrating.

Thanks guys. Cheers

Sorry missed that you said you had spark. Are you sure it is good spark???
Read this thread

and follow the instructions for testing the kill/throttle safety switch. It's easy to disconnect. I had the similar problem and it was the switch.
