Replaced voltage retifier, charging good stator checks out with proper AC voltage. Still when I start the machine and accelerate the machine sputters at higher RPM? Does anyone know what could be the problem? Carburetor has been cleaned and machine is full of gas?? Machine idles fine and starts easy. Thanks in advance for any help.

Make sure that you have a good flow of gas to the carburetor. Remove the line and let it run into a clear glass jar. My 2001 500 had crud in the tank, also check that the vent is not partially plugged. I might take the carb apart again, doesn't take much to partially plug a jet. Lastly check the boot between the carb and motor for any cracking. A Dynojet carburetor kit works well tuning the old 500's. A wacky idea, but if it's electrical, might try running it at night, rev up in neutral, check for arcing anywhere.
