I have a 1998 arctic cat zr600 and the seat has some tears in it and I found a seat and gas tank on eBay. The seat on eBay is off a 2002 zr600. Will the 2002 seat and tank fit on my 1998?

it will fit put one on one of mine before just make sure you get one with the right gas tank Efi or carb

Yes it will fit fine, as long as its carb to carb or EFI to EFI you can't mix the tanks because of the fuel pump. The 02 should have the big mouth cap and the gauge off to the side if I remember correctly.

and if you have Efi you 98 fuel pump won't fit in the 02 gas tank

Yes and no. It will not match up because of the different form of the tank, however you can shave pull the staples and shave the seat (foam) to fit your tank.

a pain.. I would get the whole tank and seat. they are easy to come by at swap meets for cheap.

Actually you can put an EFI tank on a Carb sled pretty easy, just need to block off the hole for the fuel pump.
