I have the manual. I looked on the site. However I can't find some certain steps to get the cover off.

I need to change my clutch plates. Mine are slipping real bad.

I have all the bolt off, cover is loose, but I keep hanging up on the oil temp harness.

For whatever reason, I can't get the right side cover off all the way.

If you all can help, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks...

Yeah, I have done more searching. Still haven't found anything.

I guess the correct name for the part I am trying to remove is the crankcase cover on my 1998 Arctic Cat 300 4x4.

It is catching on the oil pump bolt the oil switch lead.

How much stuff do I need to remove to get the crankcase cover off?

Thanks,

Okay....

Here is a picture of the cover I am trying to take off without removing the whole engine.

It is getting stuck on the bolt on the oil filter cover. Can the bolt at the 7 o'clock position be removed? How?

It is also getting caught on the oil sensor bung located on the top of the cover.

Help!?!?!?

Thanks in advance...

Thanks for getting back to me on that. I thought of that, but couldn't get it to work.

I'll give it another go...

I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks again, Dodger2311
