I just got a zr 440 that I need to premix in, this is the first sled I’ve needed to premix for, the guy before me said 32:1 klotz or amsoil but around me nobody sells klotz and amsoil interceptor is about $45 a gallon. Do I need to run those expensive oils or could I just run like the valvoline multi purpose 2 stroke TC-W3 which is half the price about $5 a quart? Does it matter that much? For engine life? And longevity?

Run Cat Formula 50:1 oil, not as costly as those, provides great anti corrosive properties and is cheaper too.

Stay away from 2-stroke oils intended for slower rev'ing engines. You'll be sorry in the long run if you end up going with those.

32:1 would be my recommendation as well.

I have some formula 50:1 mineral oil for my 2001 Z370 non power valve engine, your saying I should just use that oil for premix?
