Hey everyone I have a 96 ac pantera 580 can’t get the fuel pump to run. If I jumper a ground to the ground side of the relay coil pump will run and machine starts and runs fine. Not getting no ground to relay coil. Am I correct in thinking the ecu switches that ground circuit to the relay to kick pump on?

I would think power is sent from ECU. It just sounds like a bad ground which happens in a lot of sleds.

Found the problem. Ecu does send a ground signal to relay for fuel pump. Problem was in the pins inside the plug on the ecu
