You did check the sale price on that clutch at $249.95? Or do they not have it anymore? Nice guys to deal with. Bought my 300 there when CDN / US dollar was at par.

Thanks a bunch. I have looked at used 9 posts, used 6 posts, new 6 post fixed pin, new 108-EXP. I like the new 6 post 8.25 30mm but its a bit spendy. Not sure I want to spend $700 on a clutch for a 26 year old sled that get ridden 200-300 miles a year.
The 108-EXP says its good to 150hp so a little short. Anyone have experience running these on a T-Cat.
$700 bucks???? Where do you get $700 bucks, its $249 bucks! A brand spankin new clutch for 250 bucks? How much cheaper do you want? (108-EXP doesn't come up as an Arctic Cat Part Number in the Parts Fiche) Your sled came with a 8 inch 30mm clutch

The direct replacement clutch for all 1985 to 2009 models P/N 0746-839 is listed on the Country Cat website for $551.00. However, the "un-calibrated" clutch comes without the weights and spring so that's another $100.
The 0746-208 is not listed as a direct cross to the 0746-839 but it does cross to a 2008 F570 which is listed. So I will call them tommorw and verify the cross. If it is a go then it will be a sweet find and I will owe you guys.

0746-839 is a direct replacement for everything from a fan cooled 570 to a Z440 To me a it's uncalibrated, so you put whatever springs and weights you want in there. A clutch is a clutch (to me anyway, could be wrong) so long as you can get the weights and springs. If it where me I'd just cross it to any 30mm taper/8 inch clutch

I’ve been debating on that one for a while now.
Again my "always buy new if you can" parts theory, where you gonna find a brand new kit for your sled for 99 bucks? I know it's just fluffing feathers at the bar starting it from inside But I do miss that from when I had my 660

Looked for a good way to restore the faded plastic. Found the heat gun method works the best. Just keep the gun moving, the plastic will flow at 200-250F, go over it once then come back for a second pass perpendicular to the first to avoid striping. Used foil heat tape on the decals to prevent damage. The dash sticker has been damaged for some time on the right side. Some before and afters.
