Can I raise my skid up by the back stock bracket because it has holes on the bottom of the bracket that looks like it will line up if I were to take the bolts out then drop the skid to the rear hole on the bracket or will it not work??I dunno

Yes it will but it will also transfer more weight onto the skis.

Take up more spring tension on the front of the skid to compensate.
You will gain some ride height and better deep snow traction but that is all.

I assume to level the height of track in relation to the skis that you have to tighten up spring tension..correct?

You can raise the back by using the bottom holes and then to get the proper weight on the skis you adjust the front springs. Remember a little goes a long way on the front adjusters.
