Anyone have experience taking the lens off a tachometer from 1980 Jag 3000 f/c? I have one that the needle on gauge broke off. Didn't know if you can open them up and somehow epoxy the needle back to the post? Or, does anyone have a tachometer to sell that would fit? Looked on Ebay but no luck finding one there. Also could not find a listing online for any part #'s for a tachometer for this year and model. Appreciate any advice or help in locating one. Thanks.

Yes, I believe it is as far as I know. No electric connection in back. Just the two light bulbs that connect in back of housing. Large cable from engine connection to middle of gauge back with a locking collar. I’ll snap a picture of back to post in order to verify looks same as yours. Thank you for responding.
