DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS A REPLACEMENT TRACK FOR A 1978 EL TIGRE 6000. SEEN THEM FOR 1980 THRU 1984 BUT NOT FOR 78 AND 79 EL TIGRE 6000?

If the track fits the 1980 to 1984 6000, then it will also fit the 78/79. The chassis is the same and so is the skid frame, for the most part. The only big change from the 1980 model was the early 6000's were a 440cc engine. All other changes were cosmetic. Keep hunting...

thanks for responding back but the 1980's cog wheels are different. the track is 15x116 with 46 open windows . and mine is 15 x 115.150 with 35 open windows. the pitch is also different.

I HAVE THREE COGS ON THE DRIVER , BUT BE CAREFUL BECAUSE THE 78 EL TIGRE 5000 TRACK IS ALSO DIFFERENT THAN THE THE 6000.

Scorp Sidewinder track would be the same as 80-81/84 6000's- I don't have any new ones, but I have used ones that have some life left in them.
