I am bidding on a 1.75 inch lug track. I thought that it would fit and I heard from people around this site that it would fit but it was as big as I could go. Anybody got anything to back it up and give me a bit more confidence that it will fit??? thanksa lot!!!

I have a 96 wildcat mtn. and it had a 1 3/4 track on it but the guy I bought it from cut it down to 1 5/8. I don't know why he did, I can't see 1/8 of an inch making a difference. The only thing I can see is maybe he wanted added insurance that it wouldn't rub. Am sure you'll be fine with 1 3/4 lug height. This is my first long tracked sled and man what a difference it makes in the fluffy stuff.

I've got a 2" on my 89 mountain cat and I haven't ridin the sled yet but spinning the track and adjusting slack I don't think I'll have a problem. so you should be golden. what size drivers are you running that can make a big difference too.

hahaa well I actually lost the bid on track in ticked about it too but i found another one

But I do ahve a question about another track and whether or not its a good deal

this track here is 150 bucks, all other lugs are perfect except for this one and I don't know if with this one ripped lug is soemthing serious and if for 150 bucks it is a good deal or a rip off. Not sure if its a serious rip or not. IT IS THE ONLY RIPPED LUG, ALL THE OTHER LUGS ARE PERFECT so just let me know

I wouldnt pay 150 bucks for it. Those old tracks should be a dime a dozen. Keep sniffin around man.
The cougar is similar to the EXT isnt it? My 93 EXT 580Z had 2" plastic paddles on it when i got it back in the day, and i took that track off and put a 1.6" on it, never a problem. I believe it was all stock too, 136"...a good ol long track at the time!
Good luck

1 & 3/4 fits fine! I have a Doo 1.75 on a 95 cougar and a Bighorn 1.5 on a 96 cougar. Both 136's. No mods required. Lots of 136 tracks kickin around in good shape. Lots of 1.4 and 1.6 takeoffs from the powder specials when the guys went to 2".
