I haven't been able to get out on my new to me 07 F1000 yet and am wondering what I can expect to get for miles out of a tank. I know it depends on conditions, driving styles, snow depth etc. But just trying to get a feel, 100 miles, 125 miles?. Alos curious about oil consumption. My Sabercat 700 would be looking for fuel around 100 miles and would eat up a litre of ol in about 90 miles.

oil consumption is alot less than that...as for the gas mileage...a safe mileage is around 110 miles per tank...leaves you around 2 or so gallons left...so you would have plenty of reserve left...so keep to the regime you are used to with the 700 and you will be fine

At that kind of mileage I'd label yours as a factory freak. Both of my ZR800s were good on fuel, my 900 twin was an absolute miser. The F1000 is decent but no where close to the 900.
