I have a 06' F7 EFI sp and when i take off at a dead stop it has a hesitation. I took it to a ac dealer and they adj. my oil pump 1 turn and shimmed my clutch so the belt would ride higher on the sheaves. this helped but didn't solve it. so i took it to a local guy who races AC's and he adj. the oil one more turn and now my ration is 60:1 and my plugs are tan. Plus he put a +2 timing key in it and it is better but still has a hesitation. the sled runs 8000 rpm at wot but it only goes 100mph over a 1 mile stretch (and this is with new plugs, old plugs only 94mph). the guy i took it to checked my apv valves and said they were way off like 39mm to he adj. those also. So i have come to the conclusion that it is either the clutch or the ecu, from what i have read on other posts. Does this sound correct? I want to change the primary spring and weights but not sure what to go with. Any help would be appreciated. thank you

Sounds like a clutching problem to me. What do you have for springs (in both primary and secondary) and weights? Also, what position is the secondary spring set at? I had a Powder Extreme with the same problem and it was mostly clutching.

The clutching is all stock. I'll see what the springs are on monday when i get to the shop. The guy who did a little work on my sled did check the alignment and had to adj. it also. I think i'm just going to order a clutch kit from ODS, a lot of guys on here say they work really good. What do ya think?
