I got to put the 1st 500 miles on my 06 Crossfire 700 SnoPro and as I was cleaning/checking it over I noticed I lost 3 of the 8 torx headed screws that hold the rear gas rack to the tunnel from the bottom side and 2 of the remaining 5 are loose. My question is: How do I access/remove/install the 4 torx headed screws that are slightly covered by the aluminum rear hose protectors to re-install with loc-tite on the so they do not fall out again? Do I have to remove/drill out the rivets in the rear hose protectors to do this or is there an easier way?

Thanks,
-John

You'll have to remove those covers. Simple.

Funny Chris! I got what I needed done by using a bit of creativity with tools I had. BTW: Pic is borrowed from a different post..... not my actual sled.
