Called a local dealer looking for leftovers. He has a NEW 2006 Crossfire 6 for $6599. Is this a good buy? He says it listed for @ $8400. Any issues with the 06's? I know it doesn't have reverse.

Asked why he still has it. Said 2 reasons:

1. He order a ton of them because they were hot sellers. Apparently all other AC dealers in the area did too
2. No reverse. People want reverse. 06 didn't have it and he had trouble selling them because of it.

At $6600 you know why he still has it. I paid a couple hundred more cash than that in the Spring of '06 for my 700 Sno Pro.

i wouldnt buy it... last year my dad bought an 06 xfire 7 with 400miles for $4500.. and a few months ago I picked up my 06 xfire 6 with 100miles for $3600. His sled was off of ebay and mine was off of craigslist. I'm guessing you should be able to find an xfire with under 1000miles around the $4k range.

+++Forgot to add, a friend of mine that lives in northern WI bought 2 xfire 7's brand new 2 years ago for $5200 each from a dealer up there.

I bought a leftover 2008 xfire 6 in april 09 for $7500 plus they put a backcountry 1.75 track on it for that price. I don't think that is a good deal at all.

I saw a 2009 800 sno pro for 8999.00 and if I look more, probably can find one cheaper. And it is new. Definetly that 600 is to high. No reverse !!!!!! How will they ever sell it? I mean for what you can get now.
