I'm ready to install new tires on my cat. I do allot of mudding and want to install 28" mudzillas will they work on my stock bike? I see that a lot of the people with 04 and 05's get clutch kits ,springs, etc. Do I need to do that also. I do not see allot about the 06's, are they the same or was something changed. :ridepride:

With 28's you should go with a clutch kit and springs. I would also recommend the Outlaws as a better tire over the zilla's. The outlaws rule the mud here in NC.

i run 28" mudzilla on 06 500 and there is room to spare. there is noticable power loss, but nothing that hinders my riding. i put it in low range every now and then. your 650 should be able to man handle 28" zillas but a clutch kit wouldnt hurt either.
