Hey everybody new to the forum and I have a few questions on my 2004 zr 900 carb. I’ve owned it for a few years but I’m just now noticing a few things that seem off. First is the hose for my heated carbs is hooked up on the motor but not the carb itself, and it looks like the return on the other side of the carb is missing. Bad idea to ride with this unhooked? Second is what should my idle be set to? I started it up the other night and cold idle was around 900-1100. The thing that concerns me is my lights dim when I let it idle but brighten up when I give it some throttle. Lastly I noticed this hose and filter just dangling by my clutch can someone tell me what it’s for?Thanks!

that looks like the gas tank vent hose.
someone cut it and stuck a filter in the middle.
put the top portion of the hose is not connected
look up by the hoop arear where the steering post is.
