Trying to figure out what I have here. I purchased my 04 F7 EFI sno pro used. I noticed today looking it over that the primary spring is broken. After checking around, I have come to the conclusion it isn't a the stock spring. It is gold in color.....not yellow. Dealers tell me that stock is yellow white. Wondering if there's a way to tell if the spring I have is an a/c spring or aftermarket. Also is this a good set up, I'm happy with it but don't know a lot about clutching.
The rest of the set up is:
670/71 weights
red secondary spring in center position
Micro belmont 60-48 helix

Thanks in advance for any help. it's greatly appreciated.

Any chance this gold primary spring could be a Polaris spring?

Or what are the spring rates of stock Yellow/White vs. gold. I'd be happy to go back to stock if it would work, so at least I'd know what I had. :Bangin:

Probally is a polaris which is 150/290 spring and is what micro belmont would use in their AC kits. Probally just contact micro belmont or wahl racing to get a spring. It is actually a almond gold. There is an all gold which is a 100/275 spring, don't think it is this one as if it is your engagement would be around 2800 rpms.
