well just got an 04 F6 carb for the girlfriend, need to know at what rpm it makes most hp . I know my f7 is at 7800.thanks

i wouldn't go over 8000. i got a clutch kit in mine and it maxes out about the same as yours, 7800 ish

Welcome to the site!

My 04 max is 7900. I have great top end and the best low and mid power from my ODS clutch Kit.
If you want her to have great pull buy her the ODS kit. I think I can speak for just about everyone who has his kit that they are the best!

thanks to all i had to remove shims belt was sitting way to low. getting snow now and should have a foot by morning.
I will test it then.I also found 460 main jets? i am running 450 in my f7 and it pulls hard. ill try 430 and see how it runs.
any ideas.

update. mains 430s and max rpm 7840. runs real good now and plugs are nice and tan this f6 is a whole lot of fun now.thanks for the info.

Dyno #'s on 04 stock F6

7400- - - 116.9 hp
7500- - - 117.9 hp
7600- - - 118.2 hp
7700- - - 117.1 hp
7800- - - 112.0 hp
7900- - - 102.9 hp Yep 7600 is the # you want.

thanks smokin'05 i will try to get in that range spring is allready in 2 hole i will try the #1 and see what happens.

You can always throw a lower finish rate spring in the primary to get those rev's down. Check out a spring chart, your dealer will have one. Middle hole sec and lower finish rate in pri is the way to go.
