Was out riding in Idaho/Montana and I had a problem with the secondary. When you are at a dead stop and hit the accelerator it makes a really bad sound and hardly moves. Sorta sounds like a grinding scratching skipping noise, just bad. So I bought a used clutch and put the original helix and spring in... Did same thing. Then I put a clutch from a 96 440 on and it cured it. So I put the original helix and spring on the 96 clutch, then did the bad sound again.:angry:and would hardly move. Also everything is fine if.you can get it going 8 mph or so. Is my spring or helix bad?
