Had no electric starter operation, 7.5amp starter fuse blown. Replaced that, now it cranks over but has no spark, pull starter fuse back out, and I have spark again.
Now the sled does not charge the battery. I believe the charging diode to be bad, I've checked solenoid, all is good there. A diode is supposed to let electricity move one way but not allow it to backfeed, correct?? As long as the fuse is out, the sled can be pull started and ran, but no charging goes back to the battery, but everything else has power. If diode is bad is it shorting out the charging system and shutting the ignition down?

Part number on that diode is below but it seems to be unavailable. If I'm completely wrong please feel free to tell me I'm dumb lol
