the drain plug on my 2009 mud pro (size 14Mx1.25) is stripped. there is a screen covering the drain which is preventing me from threading the tap and heli-coil in.... any suggestions??? why is that screen in there? is there any reason i couldn't just drive the tap up through the screen...
