ATV: Whats an ATV ?
ZR track question

I need to find a track for a friend who has a 1998 ZR 600 EFI and thought I could do the cross reference thing on the Cat website and it give me all the different sleds that it was used on but it didn't. It's a 15 X 121 I believe and was probably used on a lot of Cat's and also different years. Is there a serial number or part number on the track itself that I could go by or is there an alternative way to check out the tracks ?

Check out Camso, formerly camoplast for tracks and sizes. It’s probably a 2.52 pitch which is common. It doesn’t have to be off a Cat.

Your using the wrong site, use Browns Leisure World Part Fiche, you put your sled in and click on the year, the model and the section then the part and then the little underlined- where used thats the screen that pops up and tells you EVERY year and sled that particular part was used on

So I'll copy and paste the "stock" track that your friends sled came with and EVERY sled, including his that came with that exact track, or whatever replaced it;

and the item number is 12; "TRACK,15 X121X.85-BUMP" (same one my old 98 ZR had, 7/8 inch lug)
Part Number is 1602-756
now you hit "Where Used" [underlined]
and you get this;
Part Number: 1602-756
TRACK,15 X121X.85-BUMP

Owning a Thundercat is like having a totally hot wife..... All of your friends want to see it, feel it and check it out..... They all want to know what it is like to ride it, but if they only knew how much time and money it takes to keep one up, they would call you a fool!

I have a low slung fully built( by a well know engine builder) 3 cylinder 800 cc that made multiple dyno pulls over 200 hp on a calibrated Land and Sea dyno and I barely pull my buddy on his stock Thundercat. And I do have video."

I see what you did, cause I went back and checked EVERY Z, ZL, and ZR, ; 440, 500, 600, 600-ZRT, and 800-ZRT. The only sled that year that came with that part number; 0602-923; in the Browns Leisure World Parts Fiche [link here]https://www.blwpartsfiche.com/ is a 1998 ZL-500. So you entered the wrong sled.

Arctic Cat also as a parts lookup [link here]https://store.arcticcat.com/Parts# which you can do the same thing and get the U.S. list price in U.S. dollars. And I came up with the same thing.

Might want to save these two links for future reference, they are plenty handy

Brown's Leisure World did work correctly for me. Just for grins I went back to Alpha Sports, entered in all the info (1998 Arctic Cat ZR 600 EFI) { track assembly #12 on parts diagram 0602-923}and still got the same result : No Longer Available. I think they're from Canada, maybe they haven't updated yet. Good thing Brown's is available, they're going to be my Arctic Cat GO- TO site.

“IF”, you’re searching for stock lug height, it’s .875” tall, 2.52P, 121” x 15” with all open windows and fully clipped with outside guide clips every other lug, and was not a “narrow window opening” style. Windows were approx 1.25” to 1.375” wide.

Who, me?! Don't listen to me.... (I don't know anything, evidently...)

I think they're from Canada, maybe they haven't updated yet. Good thing Brown's is available, they're going to be my Arctic Cat GO- TO site.
I just use Browns to look $hit up, never to buy anything, they are in Canada. I never use Alpha. I verify if a part is still available on Cats own site. To your part number, Alpha has it screws backwards. Like I said that number is only listed on one sled. I have been in and out of 98's forever because my Rat-Sled was a 98 ZR600 so I've probably looked up ever part on that sled at one time or another.

Owning a Thundercat is like having a totally hot wife..... All of your friends want to see it, feel it and check it out..... They all want to know what it is like to ride it, but if they only knew how much time and money it takes to keep one up, they would call you a fool!

Seen in a DOO forum

"Of all the 850 vs Sidewinders/Thundercat/ZR 9000's; you are the first I have ever heard that beat one. I know the 850 is strong but it's down 30 hp from the turbo sleds.
I have a low slung fully built( by a well know engine builder) 3 cylinder 800 cc that made multiple dyno pulls over 200 hp on a calibrated Land and Sea dyno and I barely pull my buddy on his stock Thundercat. And I do have video."

Things on NASA headphones that are not good;
"That supposed to be like that?" "What the hell was that?" "Did you just pee in your spacesuit"
