2006 Arctic cat 700 efi not starting

It ran fine the day before I left for a trip I was gone for 4 days. When I can back started right up drove it down a couple blocks when I was coming home was able to drive it about two blocks wouldn't go over 10 rpm then started to backfire then I died and hasn't worked for about a week. I have changed the spark plug and checked the air filter. I can almost get it to start pull starting it but it won't with the automatic start.

Basics are:
- Air flow
- Gas flow / good gas.
- Spark (electrical).

Sounds like air flow is good. Try replacing with new gas. Also try verifying consistent blue spark. Many years ago, I had a twin piston snowmobile and it randomly ran on 1 piston. After lots of different tests, I discovered its one plug randomly stopped working under pressure. Rare but it can happen. Thus, do try with different spark plugs. And, try with kill switch off/on several times as well. Sometimes, a rare faulty kill switch makes weird running behavior as well. Especially moisture inside the kill switch and/or ignition key system.

Hope these ideas help.
